Lawrence Team Shut Down

Lawrence Team Shut Down: It is an academic basketball program for 5th thru 8th grades held at the Lawrence YWCA in collaboration with the Lawrence Public Schools. TSD team is a year round program that offers many youth from the inner city of Lawrence the opportunity to utilize the game of basketball as a tool for success. Education is the key to success! The program’s focal point is to provide youth at an early age the fighting chance to develop as a person of character, a student, and an athlete. This program is a low economic program for inner city students who come from low income  families. The program services 40 student-athletes.
